Your swing continues to improve. Here is what we focused on during this lesson.
STAND UP MORE ERECT WITH LESS KNEE BEND
Start with wide stance to remember these things:
- Wide stance
- Less knee bend
- Shoulder pivot in takeaway on target line straight back
- Right elbow pointing at ground with palm pointing up to sky
- Left wrist straight, or bowed, but not cupped
Use shoulders to rock the arms and club like a metronome in music.
Don’t hit the ball and instead stroke it.
Determine distance needed by adjusting the backswing
Narrow stance, most of your weight on lead foot and ball position off heel of lead foot with minimal to no lower body movement
Similar to Chipping, but allow a little wider stance and more lower body movement
Your regular posture and knee bend
Your new more erect and slighter knee bend
